I was born in North Yorkshire and educated at Gateways School for Girls in Harewood.
Still based in the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside with my artist husband Neil and our two children, Hettie & Kit, I regularly travel around the UK meeting potential hoteliers and presenting the HRH collection to Corporates, Venue Finders and Luxury Leisure & Concierge Agents … often accompanied by my trusted companion, Purdy, our West Highland Terrier.
The first hotels that I worked with were a collection of three hotels, The George at Stamford, The Old Bridge at Huntingdon & Haycock Manor at Wansford in England. I then spent over a decade working for the Duke & Duchess of Devonshire and their collection of hotels within The Devonshire Group before joining Peter Hancock and the team at Pride of Britain Hotels for over two decades.
In 2023 I launched Highly Recommended Hotels (HRH) and am enjoying building up the HRH family. All of our Hotels are privately owned, 4-5 Star luxury properties and each are renowned for their distinctive character and impeccable service.
